My name is Raquel
I am a graphic designer and have collected elements from around the world to create handmade real dreamcatchers for the last twelve years or so. From an early age I had a passion for crafting intricate woven items as I watched my Portuguese grandfather weave fishing baskets for which he received acclaim into his 90s.
Each dreamcatcher is entirely unique and has been thoughtfully crafted to ensure harmony of colour and object. The shells, beads, branches, feathers, crystals and threads have been personally collected from all over the world including Portugal, Spain and coasts Africa. Each of which bring with them their own story through time.
Since the very beginning dreamcatchers were made by Native American tribes to filter the good dreams down to the sleeper and capture the bad ones so that they may be destroyed at first day light ensuring a good nights sleep.
Selecting a dreamcatcher for a loved one is special, each dreamcatcher is a special and unique as the person it is chosen for. It will become a loved a cherished item in the home and admired by any who sees it.
I also make jewellery, greeting cards and some very colourful sketches which I will be adding to my eCrater website soon.
Thank you for visiting my site.
~ May all your dreams come true ~
